Diving at Sipidan 4 days / 3 nights
Rated by many dive journalists as one of the top destinations for diving in the world, Sipidan was formed by living corals growing on top of an extinct volcanic cone that took thousands of years to develop.
Day 1: Tawau Upon arrival at Tawau Airport, transfer by coach to Semporna and then by boat to your chosen dive resort.
Day 2-3: Diving at Sipidan Borneo falls within the‘ Coral Triangle’, and Sipadan is located at the heart of the Indo-Pacific basin, bringing more than 500 species of reef building corals, a global epi-centre of marine biodiversity. With more than 3000 species of fish, the whole area is classified as one of the richest ecosystems in the world.
Day 4: Transfer back to Tawau Transfer by boat to Semporna and then by land to Tawau Airport where your arrangements now end.
Best of Kuching 4 days / 3 nights
In the state of Sarawak, Kuching lies on the banks of the Sarawak River on the north western part of the island of Borneo. Although it has a slower pace than some other Malaysian cities, there are still markets and restaurants in abundance.
Day 1: Kuching On arrival at Kuching Airport you will be swept away to discover the charms of this riverine city. Stop by the Tua Pek Kong Chinese Temple, Kuching’ s oldest temple. Proceed to Sarawak Museum for a tour of the Ethnology section housed in a colonial building reminiscent of a French château. Stop at Kuching’ s riverfront, overlooking the historic Astana, the former residence of the White Rajahs.
Day 2: Batang Ai Embark on a 225 kilometre overland journey through countryside dotted with paddy fields, pepper gardens and rubber plantations. Visit Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, to view semi-wild orang utans, who have been rescued from captivity and trained to survive in the forest reserves. Stop off at the Serian farmers market for a local lunch before arriving at Batang Ai boat jetty. Transfer to Batang Ai Hilton Resort for your overnight stay.
Day 3: Longhouse visit After breakfast, depart for Lemanak jetty for a longboat ride up the Lemanak River to visit a longhouse. Enjoy traditional dancing, music, and a glass or two of tuak( rice wine) with the longhouse chief. Lunch is served in the longhouse.
Day 4: Kuching Transfer from your hotel to Kuching Airport where your tour arrangements end.
