News is defined as information about current events. Technological developments have increased the spread of which news can be spread. News typically presents new information, which addresses aspects of reality. Newsworthiness is known as a subject having sufficient relevance to the public. Its all the “facts” nothing more, nothing less. Its to give knowledge to the public about there country of the things they should be aware about. That gives a great value of importance, seeing that

we must know what goes on around us, in our country. People are interested in news which involve topics about there neighborhood, war, things that make a big impact, describe conflicts, and involves well known important people. News values are professional norms of journalism. These values only include the five W’s, the who what, when where and why. There isn’t any extra information like opinions, or bias or questioning. That is what makes news factual. Journalist are often expected to aim for objectivity, which they report all sides of an issue, event etc without bias, opinions, etc. The result for the public is to lay out the facts in a sterile manner which should be presented as being true.

GOSSIP

Gossip is idle talk. Usually amongst people that’s how gossip starts its just petty talk and rumors amongst one another. Its assumptions and dishing and taunting as a certain topic, person or controversy. Its important to people because they can monitor reputations, which in human nature one is at ease with control. Also its usually a form of conversation amongst a large group because it gives off more reactions an opinion. Usually gossip is nothing factual its mainly information delivered from one person to another which then opinions and comments are stirred in which get mixed up. The deliverer might bring up a certain topic, then that person might continue on that topic, and the cycle continues which leads to gossip.

Gossip is scandalous and relies on chatter. In the 19th century the term originated from the bedroom of a childbirth. Giving birth is known to be a lady’s only event to be social, in which a female’s relatives and neighbors gather. This social gathering was to be known of as gossip which came to mean talk of others. Gossip is usually hurtful and shameful to underdog others, its used to help gain information about others without actually speaking to them personally.
