Monica Casillas

"I joined HOSA because I wanted to be involved in a community, a community of other students who also were interested in the medical field."

-Monica Casillas

Monica aspires to be a psychiatrist. Some of the things she's learned or gained through HOSA is she has been able to meet new people and make a lot of new friends. She's gained leadership skills and has learned the importance of teamwork. She's been in Health Institute for 4 years and HOSA for 3. One interesting fact about Monica is she loves reading.

Natalie Madrigal

"I feel like through HOSA, I've been able to interact with people that have the same goals and I can learn more about the medical field at the same time and the people in it."

-Natalie Madrigal

Some of the most valuable things Natalie has learned through HOSA include working on projects and participating in community service, and how to work together as a team. Natalie is a junior at WUHS and this is her second year in HOSA. She hopes to one day work in the medical field.
