HOSA Chapter: Washington Union High School
NAMI Walk/Run
On January 28th, our HOSA Chapter hosted a run/walk event at John Ventura Stadium to support National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Fresno. HOSA president, Monica Casillas, presented a check for $250 to Christina Valez-Roup, Executive Director of NAMI Fresno. The students want to continue helping raise awareness for mental illness and reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness through education.
