This included explaining how the betting system worked, and what prizes were 'up for grabs' in the raffle.
The representatives from Roundabout were then asked to say a few words about their charity, its
history, and the work they do and how the money raised from the Race Night would help those they work with on a daily basis.
The profit made from the Roundabout Race Night was £189. This wasn't the amount that was hoped to be raised, however due to low attendee numbers; this is still a good sum of money raise.
During the race night alone, attendees helped to raise £112 from betting and buying horses as well as buying raffle tickets.
Feedback received from attendees was all very positive, saying it was an engaging event that they could get involved in, with friendly competition that made the night very enjoyable
