appear to have much more control over their response to
environmental pressures beyond their realm of interaction. Their
conduct is defined by strategic mo tions of preservation, the
excite ment of a chimp jumping triumphantly and broadcasting
his glee is not emotion but communication. The sound will
penetrate the minds of those who might exert authority or
companionship in his realm of inhabitance.
Animals broadcast relevant communication using mind
techniques of co mmunication and coordinating their articulatio n
with co mpliance to the rule of nature. T he human species is
capable of deception to the degree that he designs a lifestyle to
occupy his thoughts and direct his actions. Much of the idle
pursuits are intended to serve in place of natural barriers . Our
degree of cunning allows us to hoard resources out o f
synchronization with life cycles . For exa mple, we process food
so it won't spoil; fish is stuffed in a can, which extends its shelf
life for months and years. Then we create shelter against the
ele ments, and e ngender systems to restrict access to the means
of survival: eco-socio-no mical ownership.
The natural surface of the earth is covered with pavement
from Northern Maine to Southern California. Buildings sprout
up in metropolitan environs where trees and ve getation once
made their home. Maybe the hollows within the earth are
necessary for ventilation for the gravitational waves emanating
