(such as through exercise or writing). And it
means regularly keeping tabs of potentially
dysfunctional behaviors, such as habits that
may be turning into something more.
Mind-Body Connection
It’s no surprise that the more you help
your body, the more you help your mind.
Physical activity increases the flow of oxygen
to your brain. It also increases the number of
endorphins, the “feel-good” chemicals, in your
brain. For this reason, it’s not surprising that
people who are in good physical shape also
tend to enjoy a higher level of mental agility.
The past month my Daddy was missing
while on a trip to California and he is from
Iowa. He was found but leaving the state of
Iowa put his Dementia in full force. I am constantly reinforcing with the vision I constantly
work on getting people to take care of their
health. My father is a hard worker and provided for his family working 2 full time jobs
but never took care of his Mental or Physical
Health. Now at the age of 78 he will not be
able to be left alone. What do you think would
be the story today if he had done preventative
care?
