Ask Him to help you break down any
strongholds in your life that may hinder
or prevent you from putting Him first in
your Christmas celebration—and ulti-
mately, first in every area of life. “For
though we walk in the flesh, we do not war
according to the flesh. For the weapons of
our warfare are not carnal but mighty in
God for pulling down strongholds, casting
down arguments and every high thing that
exalts itself against the knowledge of God,
bringing every thought into captivity to the
obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:3-5
NKJV)
Once you feel in your spirit you have
received what Christ is speaking from
His heart to yours, do not take it lightly.
Treasure the wisdom He has freely given
you with reverence and thanksgiving,
applying it to your life. “The steps of a
good man are ordered by the LORD: and he
delighteth in his way.” (Psalms 37:23 KJV)
Making this commitment will help you
to develop a closer, more intimate relation-
ship with Christ—something He wants for
every believer. And as you continue to grow
in the knowledge of Him and the depth
of His love for you, you will not only want
to put Him first at Christmas, but in every
aspect of your life. When your relationship
becomes this personal, you will realize the
intimacy you have with Christ is The Gift
Above All Other Gifts. 
Ask, and it shall be given you;
seek, and ye shall find; knock,
and it shall be opened unto
you: For every one that asketh
receiveth; and he that seeketh
findeth; and to him that knock-
eth it shall be opened.
