Yet, there are some things you can do
prayerfully that will help you to get where
He wants you to be:
• Ask Christ what He wants you to know
and do in order to make your celebra-
tion of Christmas about Him rather
than a mere extension of pagan culture.
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek,
and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be
opened unto you: For every one that asketh
receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and
to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”
(Matthew 7:7-8 KJV)
• Do not assume that you know what

Ask Him for forgiveness of any sins
committed in your celebration of
Christmas in the past. “For all have
sinned, and come short of the glory of God”
(Romans 3:23 KJV)
Ask Him to create in you a clean heart
and renew a right spirit in you. “And be
not conformed to this world: but be ye trans-
formed by the renewing of your mind, that
ye may prove what is that good, and accept-
able, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans
12:2 KJV)
