“ A happy mum is a supported mum,” Martha explains.“ And we all want our kids to be happy and healthy.”
Martha wears many hats. She’ s still active in her original profession as a hair and makeup artist and is one of the top 10 in the country and she continues to judge national competitions. She’ s also a Super Confidence Coach, helping women find their voice in business, relationships, and personal growth.
From navigating imposter syndrome to setting healthy boundaries, from dating after 40 to finding love again( Martha went on 200 dates before meeting her current partner!), she empowers women to see themselves as investments in their future, not just caretakers of others.“ A mature woman isn’ t looking for a fantasy,” she says.“ She’ s looking for someone who’ s worth spending her time on.”
Martha also leads by example in financial empowerment. Having once wished someone had taught her how to invest, she now encourages women to understand finance and runs regular events with specialists to demystify superannuation and wealth building.
“ Give a woman the opportunity to learn,” Martha says,“ and she’ ll change her life.”
Behind every business move Martha makes is a deep moral code.“ Do I want to be a good businessperson or a good person? I accepted that I wanted to be a good person first. We all need to make money to live, but it should be a fair exchange.” It’ s this value-driven leadership that’ s earned her the respect of thousands.
She credits much of her ability to deliver to all her projects on such a grand scale to the systems she has built online. For a woman who told me wasn’ t tech savvy, Martha seems to have still worked out who to make it work for her. From CRM systems to automated booking links, she’ s built the leverage needed to run multiple platforms with efficiency.“ I didn’ t earn a single dollar from the group for a whole year,” she says.“ We just focused on value, content, and community. That’ s how we built trust— and why people now show up.”
The Yeah the Girls 40 Plus Awards Gala is more than a red carpet night— it’ s a heartfelt reminder that every woman deserves recognition.“ It’ s not just for celebrities or business elites,” Martha says.“ Any individual can be nominated for the difference they make. They don’ t need to wait for permission to be celebrated.”
Nominations are open and free until July. For many, it’ s the first time they’ ve felt seen.“ We don’ t value ourselves enough,” Martha reflects.“ That’ s why I’ m doing this. To remind every woman: your journey matters, your work matters, and you deserve to be acknowledged.”
