Guided Walking Holidays
- Eastern France: The Jura -
Our Jura Discovery: Wine Trails and Medieval
Villages holiday takes place in the western Jura where a
series of dramatic valleys and gorges harbour medieval
towns & villages, stunning waterfalls & lakes and a patch-
work of vines. Our easy to moderate walks explore these
“reculée” from above and below, allowing you to discover
historic gems such as Baumes-les-Messieurs, as well as
gaining some stunning views. During your week you’ll get
to find out about the Jura’s unique wines, such as the
famous Vin Jaune, one of the most prized wines in France.
Another highlight is visiting the Hérisson valley which
contains 7 amazing waterfalls in a 3km stretch.
Includes: Transfers from Lyon to Jura, transport during the week,
7 nights accommodation, all breakfasts, 6 lunches, 6 four-course
evening meals, wine tasting visits, 6 guided walks. Two centre

"We had a super holiday, and you and Ann really
worked hard to make it so enjoyable. We do hope that
we shall meet again - you are surely at the top of the
list for guiding us!" L & E Fielding, UK
- Provence -
Secret Provence: Les Baronnies explores a secret
and unspoilt corner of France where the Alps meet the
Provence with beautiful historic villages clinging to rocky
mountain sides decorated in purple lavender flowers; a re-
gion where wild Thyme, Lavender, herbs & pine produce a
wonderfully scented landscape. Each corner has its own
characteristics; rocky bluffs and cliffs define summit tops
from which steep slopes marked by ravines descend into
narrow gorges or wide fertile valleys covered in Lavender,
fruit trees and olive groves. Oak forests, scrub and moor-
land add to the tapestry of vegetation covering the hills on
this French walking holiday.
Includes: Transfer to and from Lyon and transport during the
week. 7 night's full board accommodation with the exception of
one evening meal. 6 guided walks. Two-centre based.
On our Classic Provence: Luberon Trails holiday
you'll complete a number of delightful day walks across the
region, discovering not only those "must-see" sights such
as the beautiful perched village of Gordes or the dazzling
rich ochre coloured cliffs at Rustrel. But also some less trod-
den trails taking you into hidden corners of the Luberon
region. Based in two charming guest houses, where you'll
experience the real Provence.
Includes: 7 nights full board accommodation. All breakfast and
evening meals and lunches. Transfers to and from Lyon Airport
and train stations or Avignon airport. 6 guided walking days.
