Discover the French Alps under its winter blanket by Snow Shoeing in the
Queyras . Based in a wonderful 3-star hotel in Arvieux, our snow shoeing holiday will
allow you to discover the most beautiful landscapes of the Queyras, as well as discov-
ering a region full of unique traditions and architecture. Each day your guide will take
you to a different valley in the Queyras Regional Park to discover the best this spec-
tacular and relatively undiscovered Queyras Region has to offer. The Queyras is a
landscape that offers far ranging panoramic views which are bathed in sunshine for
300 days a year.

- The Vercors -
Vercors: Jewel in the Alps: A magical destination,
where gleaming vertical cliffs meet wild plateaux. Vercors
is home to many natural wonders including extraordinary
caves, underground glaciers, waterfalls and rock arches.
The Grand Veymont reaches 2341 metres in height, but
the centre piece is the Mont Aiguille, an awesome rock
tower cast off from the main cliffs. Set amongst this are
a number of remarkable alpine villages, including Pont-en
-Royans in the Bourne Gorge where historic houses perch
perilously on rocky outcrops suspended over the river.

- The Vanoise -
Alpine Discovery: Vanoise National Park: Dramatic alpine
landscapes, where glacier topped mountains overlook beautiful val-
leys carpeted with alpine flowers. Vanoise National Park is home to
a great many alpine peaks over 3400m including a few that rise
above the Vanoise glacier, the largest glacial plateau in western
Europe. A variety of guided walks will allow us to flirt with some
outstanding mountain scenery, including the sheer Aguille de
Vanoise, the Grande Casse, and Mont Pourri.
