Midi Paul
Midi Paul is the alter ego of bassist / producer Phil McBride. Expect stuttering drums, spliced up disco samples, wobbly arpeggios and some computer funk. On stage, the music evolves like a DJ set but in place of the turntables you will get live bass, dirty analogue synths and old school breakbeats.
The live show features drummer / percussionist extraordinaire Ben Collard.
SWVN,( pronounced Swan) is a South African born Rapper, Artist based in South Glasgow- and is going from strength to strength amongst this new exciting breed. Often compared to prevailing titles such as UK rap and Grime, new up and coming artists are now spearheading the next generation in shaping Britain’ s Hip Hop culture and music scene with their own authentic sound and style. marnie( ladytron) Originally known as the lead singer
from Ladytron, Helen Marnie launched her solo career with her debut album Crystal World in 2013. Having recently released her second single off of her upcoming second album, Strange Words and Weird Wars, we’ ll certainly be expecting something new and fresh this eve.

The sound of DJ Astrojazz is diverse yet tight, and designed to move dancefloors of all kinds to a unique blend of music from across continents and ages.
The Reverse Engineer
The Reverse Engineer is Dave House, an Edinburgh-based electronic musician, sound artist and graphic designer who creates polyrhythmic soundscapes from algorithms, field recordings and objects.’

Edinburgh-based singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Callum Easter is fast growing a fanbase in his home town and beyond, picking up considerable national interest with his eclectic, electric pop beats and almost spoken word vocals.
SINK
Brilliant Edinburgh multi-instrumental trio Sink have been quietly and loudly weaving their particular kind of magic for the best part of a decade.
The core of their sound is acoustic and improvised, stretching the technical possibilities presented by the violin, accordion and saxophones respectively to extraordinary effect. Collaborations with other artists, notably touring as Kate Stables’ backing band‘ This is the Kit’ and recording album material with Lizabett Russo, as well as an ongoing series of live film score commissions from Edinburgh Filmhouse, have considerably broadened their instrumental pallet to include voice, loops, electric bass, tuned percussion, oscilloscopes, prepared and unprepared pianos and more. Their first album‘ Ossicles’ was described by The List as‘ an impressive debut from a hugely talented trio’. They are currently recording for their second album. maud the moth
Maud the Moth was founded as the solo project of the singer and pianist Amaya López-C. Hailing from Madrid, and cycling through various line-ups, she now partners up with Paúl González on drums to expand its heartfelt musical universe, which draws on a wide-ranging musical background including jazz, classical, avant garde, soul and even some elements of metal.

DTHPDL
DTHPDL are a four piece band from Edinburgh mixing an intriguing blend of grunge, weird pop, krautrock, electronica and synth rock melodies. They also wear kimonos on stage, projections, sing about dragons, light and 1920’ s artists.
Based on renowned label Song, by Toad they’ ve been championed by the likes of Tom Ravenscroft( BBC
6Music) and Mike Watt of the Minutemen / Stooges.
