Other defensive regulars returning include McFee, who had 36 tackles with 16 solos, and Bolton, who managed 10 solo tackles to go with six assists.
Sophomore lineman Domonic Wilson should help the Blue Devils on both offense and defense.
Not only are the Blue Devils having to replace Stewart on offense but their top tackler Ben Mackey, who was also a senior last season. Mackey made 95 tackles, including 64 solos and 9 1 / 2 tackles for losses.
Clarksville quarterback Jonathan Morgan, who passed for 2,874 yards and 37 touchdowns last season, was the preseason pick as the Offensive Most Valuable Player in the district. The Tigers also have two dangerous receivers returning in Jordan Daniels( 47-810) and K. D. Taylor( 38-654). Both those receivers averaged 17.2 yards per catch.
The preseason defensive MVP went to Maud linebacker Huntley Ott.
