The 4th edition of Monaco’s International
Motor Show put electric, hybrid and
new sources of energy in the spotlight
more than ever before thanks to the success of
its first editions, which brought together more
than 35,000 visitors, more than 50 exhibiting
brands, and more than 1,000 journalists and
influential personalities. SIAM 2020 was held
at Quai Albert I (Port Hercules) from the 5th
until the 8th March 2020 under the auspices
of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. The motor
show featured over 70 exhibitors, including
some of the biggest names in the car world.
All that was framed in an exclusive red-carpetstyle
indoor showroom equipped with gourmet
and recreational corners. This included
interactive areas where one could simulate the
road driving of any type of vehicle on board
an authentic sensitive simulator called «Virtual
Speed» designed for leisure and professional
use to measure car telemetry.
Extraordinary brands like Porsche, Volvo, Toyota,
Lexus, Fiat, Kia, Hyundai and Ford were
in the spotlight together with the high performance
Ferraris, Maserati and Lamborghini
aerodynamic four-wheeled jewels and
Alpine rally-style city cars. Within the SIAM
Showroom the renowned German Porsche
unveiled on the Thursday afternoon its first
100 % electric model, Porsche Taycan. Also,
for fans of the Citroën 2CV, Méhari Cassis offered
a fully sustainable set of that celebrated
Citroën ‘vintage’ model that has been reinvented
since 2017 as a total electric-vehicle.

For lovers of strong emotions, Monegasque
Emotion Automobiles presented Rapture by
Radical Sportscars, a well-established British
company, combining efficiency, extreme performance
and radically-tuned engines both
for experienced or amateur drivers. Garage
Hotel, finally, disclosed an interesting electronic
engine and design system to recreate
wonderful vintage-style cars with low-environmental
impact devices as well as safety
tools and accessories.

нынешнем году Международный
автосалон в Монако SIAM привлек
особое внимание посетителей к
электрическим и гибридным способам передвижения,
а также к альтернативным
источникам энергии. Мероприятие состоялось
уже в четвертый раз, в трех предыдущих
салонах приняли участие более
35 000 посетителей, более 50 брендов, 1000
журналистов и влиятельных личностей.
SIAM 2020 проходил в порту Эркюль с 5 по
8 марта 2020 года под эгидой князя Монако
Альбера II. В автосалоне приняли участие
более 70 экспонентов, в том числе некоторые
из крупнейших имен в мире автопроизводства.
Местом проведения салона
стал роскошный крытый выставочный зал,
оборудованный уголками для гурманов,
зонами отдыха и интерактивными зонами,
где можно имитировать вождение транспортного
средства любого типа при помощи
Virtual Speed — высокочувствительного
симулятора, разработанного для досуга и
профессионального использования.
В центре внимания зрителей были как
широко известные бренды, такие как
Porsche, Volvo, Toyota, Lexus, Fiat, Kia,
Hyundai, Ford, так и самые эффективные
с точки зрения аэродинамики «сокровища
на четырех колесах» Ferrari,
Maserati и Lamborghini и городские автомобили
в стиле альпийского ралли. В
рамках SIAM известный немецкий производитель
Porsche представил свою
первую полностью электрическую модель
Porsche Taycan. А для поклонников

автосалон Emotion Automobiles представил
модель Rapture от британского производителя
Radical Sportscars. В этом дорожном спорткаре
удачно сочетаются эффективность,
экстремальные характеристики и использование
инновационных двигателей. Наконец,
Garage Hotel представил оригинальный электронный
двигатель и нетривиальный дизайн
для воссоздания великолепных автомобилей
в винтажном стиле с низким уровнем воздействия
на окружающую среду.
