Make it Satisfying

If there is a reward associated with a behavior—that is, it feels good and has a satisfying ending—then we have a reason to repeat it in the future. This gives your brain a little treat as you await the delayed health benefits of your new habit.

How to Make it Satisfying Examples

IMMEDIATE REWARD: Doing something enjoyable (like an audio book), while walking can be rewarding. You will look forward to your next walk if you left off mid chapter. Also watching your step counter go up as you get closer to your goal is fun.

Let's have some fun & stay accountable! Every Friday in the Healthy Free Life Academy Community group, there will be a "Share Your Tracker"post. Post a photo of your tracker in the comments of the "Share" post at least 2 times in the month and be entered in a prize drawing. Drawing held and winners notified the beginning of next month! USE HABIT TRACKER: Print out Habit Tracker (next page) to track your progress daily. Simply check the boxes to indicate the days you achieved your habit goal. (Tracker tutorial video found top of p 14.)
