It can be hard to keep track of the
various diet plans out there, and many
are little more than marketing fads,
but you may have been hearing a great
deal about the Mediterranean diet and
why it’s so good for you. Sadly, the
“diet” label has meant that many see
if purely as a means of losing weight,
while it causes others to discount it
altogether. Let’s look at it more in
terms of a long-term way of eating, as
opposed to a quick fix, which it certainly isn’t.
What is the
Mediterranean Diet?
As the name suggests, the
Mediterranean diet is based
