Eat fats! No I’m not saying eat junk foods or fats that will harm you body. I’m telling you to eat healthy fats such as salmon, flounder, olive oil, coconut milk, etc. As teens we should eat between 2200-2800 calories of fats per day in which you would consume fats and saturated fats.

Don’t forget your minerals! Minerals are an important part in your diet as well; they go along with vitamins. Minerals affect your bones and different muscles helping different parts of your body. We need to take in minerals like boron, calcium, chromium, etc. Milk, cheese, and yogurt would be some examples of foods containing minerals.

Carbohydrates are needed! On a daily basis we need to consume 210-290 grams of carbohydrates in order to stay healthy. Some of the foods would include dried fruits and potatoes, etc.
