Pitta pacifying foods should be consumed like, Grains like rice, wheat, jwar or Jowar known as sorghum in English, bajra (Pearl Millet), barley. Pulses like moong (Split Green gram), pea, chana (Chick peas brown) 4. Vegetables like cauliflower, lady finger (okra) , lauki,(Gourds) karela,(Bitter gourds) spinach, math, chavli, potato, suran, sweet potato, sago, kamalaghatta, (Lotus stem) singhada (Indian water chestnut ) etc 5. Mutton, chiken. 6. Fruits like pomegranate, apple, chickoo (Sapota or Sapodilla), amla (, grapes, banana, sugarcane, dates, resins, fig. 7.
