paricharya/regimen is to be
followed.
Do's ( things to be followed)
1. Digestive power is moderate in
this season so eat food as per your
hunger.
2. Food which are bitter, sweet &
astringent in taste should be preferred
3. Pitta pacifying foods should be consumed like,
Grains like rice, wheat, jwar or Jowar known as sorghum in
English, bajra (Pearl Millet), barley.
Pulses like moong (Split Green gram), pea, chana (Chick peas
brown)
4. Vegetables like cauliflower, lady finger (okra) , lauki,(Gourds)
karela,(Bitter gourds) spinach, math, chavli, potato, suran, sweet
potato, sago, kamalaghatta, (Lotus stem) singhada (Indian water
chestnut ) etc
5. Mutton, chiken.
6. Fruits like pomegranate, apple, chickoo (Sapota or Sapodilla),
amla (, grapes, banana, sugarcane, dates, resins, fig.
7. Agastya water( water purified by sun rays in daytime & cooled
down by rays of agastya star in nighttime.) Excellent as a pitta
dosha pacifier. Same way on Kojagiri poornima, we drink milk
