few moments of comfort and pleasure where I could escape from my
painful thoughts. During my hypnotherapy training, I not only released
my emotional baggage but also the released the excess weight.
As I was passionate about getting people back to being eating right
and being healthy, I got further training and became a certified health
coach. I could now offer not only hypnotherapy for my clients but also
could combine it with nutritional guidance. Just focussing on food and
exercise alone is not a permanent solution as the subconscious mind
still holds the old patterns of eating and the unconscious reasons for
being overweight. I see hypnotherapy as a powerful tool to help
overweight people release that excess weight and enjoy a healthier
life. It’s not just about releasing physical weight but it’s also about
releasing past emotional programs. From my own experience, once
we get the 3 aspects of us; the mind, body and emotion working in
alignment together, we can get to our healthy weight and stay there.
Now the negative limiting beliefs and emotions in the subconscious,
will no longer conflict with our conscious desire to be slim and healthy.
It’s like the “force of the invisible chains” which were once keeping you
away from being the healthier version of you, will now transform into a
“friendly motivating force” which supports you on your journey towards
a healthier way of living.
7. What is your perspective towards life since you became a
therapist and healer?
Firstly, I would like to clarify that the word “heal” is different from
“cure”. As therapist, unless we are medical doctors, we do not cure.
The word “heal” means moving back towards health and wholeness.
Just like any other healing modality, hypnotherapy uses the tool of
hypnosis to bring the individual back to health and wholeness by
releasing the old subconscious programs which were innocently
