Hypnosis is powerful because it empowers us to make the beneficial
changes from within, instead of feeling hopeless and helpless. It gives
us hope and control back. We no longer need to remain stuck in our
old patterns. Once we understand that the subconscious mind only
created those patterns as coping skills during our early years of
childhood, we can change those beliefs. We cannot choose our
parents or the family we were born into, but as adults we can take
responsibility to change these old patterns.
We can communicate with the subconscious mind through hypnosis,
to release those old patterns and live life from a state of clarity,
calmness, inner strength and resilience. We now can respond to life
instead of re-acting to life from old patterns. We can get the
subconscious mind to get on board and be in alignment with our
conscious desires. Now, both the conscious and subconscious minds,
can work together in harmony and move us towards what we want. It’s
like getting 100% mind power working for what we want without
resistance.
I also see hypnotherapy as a powerful healing modality, which works
as a complementary tool to western medicine. Hypnotherapy calms
the nervous system, so that the body can use all its resources for
healing the dis-ease and not go into the fight/flight sympathetic
nervous system mode, which compromises healing within the body
systems.
Yes! you are so right, And I think it should become an essential
part in all the hospitals and nursing homes all over the world.
