Healing and Hypnotherapy Volume 4, Issue - 3, 1 September 2019 | Page 36
Taking care of my two lovely children and spending most of my time at
home with my family. I wish, I had discovered hypnotherapy much
earlier and I could have been a much better mother, sister, friend,
daughter and wife.
I am so grateful that I made the best decision to learn hypnotherapy,
as today I can understand myself and my relationships with my loved
ones. I am no longer that nervous person. I enjoy going out and
meeting people and sharing my experiences with others. I give talks to
people and I am so much at peace with myself, with others and the
world around me.
4. How do you see hypnotherapy as a tool for healing?
I see hypnotherapy as a powerful tool for healing. Hypnosis is a
communication tool with the subconscious mind. The subconscious
mind is our emotional mind and its only job is survival and this is best
done by keeping us in alignment with the “programs” we already hold
within us. These “programs” have been downloaded from the time we
are born. Hypnosis opens a pathway into the subconscious mind, and
we can go within and change the “programs” which no longer work for
us. The hypnotherapist facilitates the opening of this pathway so that
beneficial changes can be made for the betterment of the client. It can
be used to change unhealthy behavioural patterns, to change limiting
beliefs about how we see ourselves, how we see others and the world
around us. It helps us to gain insights to the root cause of our negative
thinking and irrational fears. When we go within and change our
limiting beliefs, we change the present and the future. Once we
program our subconscious mind with new empowering beliefs, it will
now support us mentally, physically and emotionally. We now have the
most powerful part of us guiding and supporting us, instead of creating
resistance.
