carrying the heart of Service into the new Year

from courthouse conversations to community outreach, the Yld is carrying its heart for service into a bright new year!
As the year turns, I’ ve been reflecting on how service sustains both our profession and our community. When we take time to serve— together— we strengthen the trust, camaraderie, and sense of purpose that define who we are as lawyers.
This fall, our members embodied that spirit in meaningful ways. At our Yoga and Beach Clean-up, we started the day with gratitude, fresh air, and teamwork. At our Friendsgiving Happy Hour, we enjoyed fellowship while collecting food for Metropolitan Ministries, helping local families share a holiday meal. And at our November Chamber Chat, Judge Tesche Arkin reminded us to prioritize our health— wisdom we can all carry into 2026.
