of the year. We are excited to host our Membership Diversity Luncheon on January 14 at the noon at the Hilton. As always, our Diversity Luncheon is free for our members and is a wonderful way to check back in with each other after the holiday season. We certainly would love to see you attend.
And on February 28, we will be having our annual 5K Pro Bono Run and Judicial Food Festival at Riverwalk and the Stetson Law Tampa campus. This is one of my personal favorite events of the year. Whether you walk, run, stroll, or race down the Riverwalk, or cheer on your friends, the atmosphere is always fun. Every year I am impressed by the law firms, organizations, and the judiciary for their creativity in their booths, food, and drink options that at they bring to the event. I truly hope to see you at this event, and I so am grateful for all those for volunteer and put so much effort into making this annual tradition exceptional.
Another fantastic opportunity for something new comes on May 19, when we will be hosting our Membership Law Day Luncheon at Armature Works. This will mark our first membership luncheon at Armature Works. It is always exciting when we try a new venue, and we would appreciate for you to attend this lunch and give us your feedback about the venue.
Of course, there are other opportunities in 2026 with the HCBA, and you can always check out our“ Calendar” tab on our website at Hillsbar. com to find an event that interests you.
Whether it is through these HCBA events or all the other events that you may choose in 2026, I wish you a year with boundless opportunity for growth and happiness, and that we can mark this historic year not just because of the time that has passed since the Declaration of Independence, but also for the opportunities that still exist today. n
