With more than 1,000 different constitutional and statutory responsibilities , the office handles these tasks with Equity , Transparency , and Independence . For instance , nearly all Hillsborough County public records and court documents pass through our office .
You ’ re probably very familiar with some of what we do , including the issuance of juror summons , whereby we call citizens to dutifully serve , summonsing four thousand jurors each week for criminal and civil trials .
The Office works closely with the 13th Judicial Circuit to make sure jury duty is a rewarding experience .
