By joining the Mill Creek PTSA, you are partnering with other parents, teachers and students to become a part of the nation’s largest volunteer advocacy organization. With your Mill Creek membership, you are automatically enrolled as a member of the Area III Gwinnett County Council of PTAs, the Georgia PTA, and the National PTA. The Mill Creek PTSA provides support for students, teachers, staff and the Mill Creek community through the volunteer efforts of its members. We award one-time scholarships of $500 to graduating MCHS seniors who are members of the Mill Creek PTSA and have demonstrated excellence in leadership and community service. We participate in the Reflections program, a national arts competition that invites all students to enter works in photography, visual arts, literature, music composition, dance choreography, and video/film production. Winners at Mill Creek have the opportunity to advance to the county level and beyond. We host the Baccalaureate service each May for our graduating seniors. We support our teachers and staff through hospitality events through the year. They created it for a contest that The Gwinnett Daily Post is having via Twitter. We thought you also might want to share some more of our kids’ work. It is a lot of fun. http://www.youtube.com/watch? v=r5p-9NJx4SA&feature=youtu.be
