I will surely comeback here to taste some more of their authentic German dish. And I would recommend all those food lovers out there to come and try Brotzeit’s authentic dishes.It is expensive but it would give you another dining experience. Just bring some of your friends or other family members because they offer great platter meals which would surely tickle each member’s taste buds.
And it would make them come back for some more just like what it did to me. Overall, it was a great dining experience. I would rate my dining experience by giving it 5 stars because this was my first time to taste an authentic german cuisine in the Philippines. But I had an idea on what I am going to taste even before we went to the restaurant.
Trivia:
Pork Knuckle
-Described in the menu as a crispy hind shank of grain fed pork. True enough it really has crispy skin, flavorful meat which is due to the fat layer that is surprisingly non-greasy. Furthermore the meat was very tender, flavorful, and aromatic. The pork knuckle is traditionally served with Sauerkraut and mashed or boiled potatoes. In Berlin, the dish also includes a pea-puree.
Pork Schnitzel
-Pork cutlet pounded thinly may or may not be breaded and is either pan fried or deep fried and is served with lemon.
-The traditional Schnitzel is Wienerschnitzel the meat here is veal served with lemon and German potato salad.
