In command of her SCA
“Minions,” Ms. Choi attempts to win the
fashion show. After spending hours cutting out perfect
sized construction paper for their costumes, the SCA realized that
they had no costume for the character Scarlet Overkill, thus Ms. Choi had to
wear her Scream mask instead. Her minions were Brendan Hodge, Guang Tseng, Erica
Kim, Mark Park, Kona Brumsickle, Kevin Youm, Monica Park, Nicole Wang, Brian Lee, Seohyun Min,
Aarushi Agiwal, and Mya Freeman. 2. Happily singing along to the song ‘One Way Jesus’, with the guest praise
team, Brendan Hodge worships God during SEW. This marked the final day for the Upper Secondary, with a merged
chapel with lower secondary in celebration. 3. With a Starbucks gift card on the line, Derrick Han barely dodges the
opposing team’s well aimed throw. Those observing the game from the sidelines, were treated to vanilla ice cream as
they watched those students who were brave enough to take each other on in a game of dodge ball. 4. Kona Brumsickle
dodges the water. After the field activity, students splashed each other with a water hose and dunked each other into the
pool to get other students wet. 5. Hanging out during the dodgeball match, Janghyun Lee talks with Mr. Evans. The students and teachers all received vanilla ice cream and had an hour of free time to play and enjoy one anothers company.
6. Rocking his new look, Aidan Anderson practices for the fashion show. Having received the theme of Rock and Roll,
each person in Aidan’s group dressed up as a famous musician. 7. With support from his peers, Jawon Park eats an
egg as fast as possible. This activity was part of the scavenger hunt game. In this particular challenge, each homeroom
would choose three students. The first student would eat a chocolate pie, the second would eat an egg, and the third
would drink a Pepsi. All items had to be consumed in under two-minutes. 8. In an attempt to win more points for their
homeroom, Samuel Oh, Seohyun Min, and Hansol Lee tug the rope with all their might. Each of the homerooms were
competing against each other, and the homeroom with the most points would be rewarded with a party.
