Retaining young professionals and recruiting young professionals to the
Cheyenne area has been an important topic these past few years. Amber Still,
Chairman of Cheyenne Professional Network, recently served on a board for
a workforce study. The research provided workforce trends and forecasts.
This information then helped launch a new idea to help businesses retain
and recruit talented young professionals to the Cheyenne area. Cheyenne
Professional Network created a monthly email where those looking to connect
to the community can subscribe to learn more about Cheyenne. It highlights a
young professional and their involvement, explores community events, volunteer
opportunities, local adventures and nightlife. Additionally, the email features
quick links to calendars, relocation packets and additional resources. The email
is intended to help with the acclamation process whether you are a young
professional entering the workforce, someone who has recently relocated or
looking to relocate, or if you are business wanting to stay informed on community
happenings to engage your employees.
