MEXPANDING YOUR INFLUENCE Capitol Properties Select Wyoming Wrangler: I became involved in the Wranglers Committee years ago when, as a Chamber member, I came to finally understanding the importance of Warren Air Force Base and the Wyoming Guard to the Cheyenne economy. It was only through being involved in the Chamber that I learned how impactful this local military presence is to businesses in our community. I learned that funding for both of these branches of the military can be affected to the point that their respective missions, and the sustainability of these missions, can be affected to the extent that there is always danger in maintaining them. Finally, I came to realize that we do have the ability through the Wranglers Committee to become knowledgeable of external factors that influence, both positively and negatively, these missions, and we also have the ability to use our Washington DC consulting firm to not only inform our DC delegation of threats and opportunities, but other like-minded congressional delegations as well. Committee Highlight: I think the highlight for this year was to see the number of dedicated members coming to monthly meetings to soak up information provided by
