Sandra, her granddaughter, rushed into the room as soon as she
arrived home from school. She hugged Grandma Rosa and said,
“I missed you, grandma! I have so much to tell you, a lot
happened while you were in the hospital.”
“First, I have to tell you something, Sandra,” Grandma Rosa
smiled. “I’m feeling better, but the doctors couldn’t fix my
hearing. From now on, I might not hear every word that you’re
saying.”
