US Performance Academy Welcome new families
o We have offices! You or your son/daughter can now access us anytime, during normal business hours, via video chat by clicking a link in our email signatures. Whomever you choose will receive an email stating that there is someone waiting for them in their virtual office and we can start the meeting. We think it’s going to be a great addition to our community and allows students to meet in a dedicated “space”.
o We are very excited to welcome Brennan Barnard to the USPA team as Director of College Counseling. Brennan brings a unique balance of counseling experience in independent schools with a great ability to relate to students and understand what their goals are after USPA. Brennan has a wonderful ability to think outside the box and understands the power of the athletic story during the admissions process. He has already begun working with some of our families and is excited to continue development of the USPA global approach to college counseling.
o Kim Dow is up and running as USPA Chief of Academics. I can’t thank you enough for your kind words and excitement around Kim joining our team. She has already met with the entire student body and is collaborating with me during learning meetings with our students. Her son, Sean, has enrolled at USPA for the spring and is currently in Park City, UT training with the USA Luge team.
As you can see, it has been very busy and exciting time period at USPA. I look forward to sharing more stories and updates throughout the year. I look forward to a great spring working with your entire family.
