Any major works being planned for
the Club (or recently completed)?
The club has plans to open up the
clubhouse facility to bring a more
open-air feel to the bar and bistro
area. Alfresco seating overlooking
the course is part of the plan along
with opening up the main entry doors,
repositioning the reception counter
and adding an undercover drop-off
area at the entrance.
What plans do you have for the future and
what do you expect these plans to bring to
the club?
The club will be planning for the course
rebuild once the Main Roads negotiations are
finalised, which I am sure will appeal to golfers
in the greater Brisbane area.
What do you see as your biggest challenge
as a club in the coming years?
Completing the redevelopment with as little
impact on members as possible will be the first
goal. The redevelopment will be staged over
approximately three years (pending weather)
where it is intended to always have 18 holes in
play at any one point.
