What significant event has shaped the clubs
direction over the past 20 years? How did this impact
your club?
Negotiations are still underway with Main Roads to
finalise the compensation and once settled, the club will
be able to plan for the next phase of the rebuild.
The club has recently (Oct 2014) been impacted by a
Main Roads land resumption where 8.8ha (approx. 8
holes) were resumed for the Gateway upgrade project.
Tell us what makes your club special?
This has caused a significant reduction in social rounds
played due to the temporary South Course configuration,
where there are 14 holes in play and a loop completed to
play 18 holes.

Having two courses (albeit only 14 holes now on the
South Course). The two courses certainly appealed to
members, as they would be able to get a game at any
stage of the week regardless of other activities at the
club e.g. corporate days etc.
