For example, Dr. Toufiq-e-Elahi, the advisor of the present Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh has nation-wide criticism for taking $5 million USD to secure the contract with Chevron, worth $52.7 USD, for installing three compression stations. The nation owned oil and gas exploration organization Petro-Bangla notified the allegation to the Prime Minister, but the Prime Minister tried her best for securing Dr. Elahi and the allegation has not been prosecuted yet.
