Hairstyles

The 1930s hairstyles were still quite conservative as women were still gaining rights and in the 1920s, dressing more masculine then feminine was the style, so hair was cropped close to the head, but it was becoming more feminine by 1930 and curls were all the rage. Finger waves, pin curls and face framing waves were the style to know how to do and we will show you how to do a finger wave!

1) Wash and partially dry hair and run a gel through to help set

2) Part hair down the middle and collect first layer of hair and create a wave like bump and fasten to head with pin

3) Repeat down both side of head and sit under dryer for up to 30 minutes.

You will look like Bette Davis in no time!
