Convoy of Care Responds to KY Tragedy

In December, following devastating tornadoes the State Board of Pardons and Paroles partnered with the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police, Georgia Sheriffs' Association, WSB-TV, Caring For Others, NOBLE, and the Georgia Motor Trucking Association to host the Convoy of Care. Together everyone assisted with bringing disaster relief supplies to the communities affected by the recent tornado that devastated communities in Kentucky a few weeks before Christmas. Donations were collected at four sites in Metro Atlanta. The Convoy was activated last September to assist victims of storms that ravaged Louisiana.
