The State Board of Pardons and Paroles once again participated in the annual Clark’s Christmas Kids in conjunction with Governor Brian Kemp’s Office. Last December parole staff provided Christmas gifts for 17 children in foster care in Georgia.

“This is a joyous time for children, and we were thrilled to again accept the Governor’s invitation to participate in this amazing program. The outpouring of support from our staff is heartwarming,” states Chris Barnett, Executive Director of the State Board of Pardons and Paroles.

The program involves Governor Brian Kemp's Office, the Georgia Department of Human Services and the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services with a mission of ensuring that every child in the Georgia foster care system has a present under the tree on Christmas morning.
