in the form of questions and videos with kite and festival images are motivated to the
lesson..
The class is divided into groups of 6 people and each group is given instructions.
The teacher asks students to explore the polygons around them in their daily life so that
they can define and thoroughly define the polygons and make a project using the
characteristics of a polygon.
First of all, the students are asked to complete the steps of obtaining information in the
directive carefully and carefully.
Almost every child has made a kite. Did you guys do it?
What makes him fly the kite evenly in the air?
Is the wind only effective? I'll investigate.
So, in what ways were kites usually?
Here, the student gives examples of geometric shapes and according to the students'
answers, polygons are introduced.
The students are then asked to complete the idea development steps in the directive
carefully and carefully. The teacher emphasizes to the groups that each student wants
his / her opinion to be included in the directive and that they must respect each other's
ideas. A joint decision is requested from the ideas put forward at the end of the study.
What is important at this stage is not the formation of a single student, but a thought
with the idea of each student.
In the next stage, students are expected to determine which geometric shape the kite
will be.
Students are asked to complete the product development steps in the instruction
carefully and carefully.
It is expected that measurements should be made while developing the product, and
