Activities
In this section, the lesson continues with a drawing activity, named “picture it”
Students are grouped as a pair. They are given colourful pencils or crayons and a
drawing paper. One of the students of each pair faces the board and the other one
cannot see the board. Then, teacher shows the picture that they are going to draw via
smart board. The student who faces the board explains the picture and the other one
tries to “picture it”. The student who draws may ask questions about the objects’ size
or colours.
The estimated time for the activity is 15 minutes. When the time is over, each group
shows their pictures to the class.
Differentiation
Duration can be changed according to the level of the students.
If there isn’t smart board, the picture, for the “picture it” activity, can be stuck
on the wall or board.
