“CATCH THE FUTURE ”ACTIVITY PLAN
Learning Process Teacher shows some videos that describe the process of preparing some meals.
Then, teacher wants them to pay attention to the words and structures that are
frequently used in the videos. Students watch the videos again. After that, teacher
gives information about the tools that are used while cooking. Then, teacher explains
the words which are used to explain process such as “first, second, after that, finally
etc...).
These words are practiced by the help of the reading and listening texts which are in
the book.

Reflection
Activities Students do some research about the recipe of a meal. After doing some research,
students make a video that describes the ingredients and utensils that are used for the
meal and explain the process. For this video, students are supposed to use Web 2.0 tool
to make the video.(moviemaker, etc...) Then, students present their videos in front of
the class. The other students ask questions about the meal and the presenter answers.
They exchange ideas and classroom interaction continues for a few minutes.
Differentiation
Students can prepare a recipe book by using Web 2.0 tool, STORYJUMPER.
If it is not possible for the student using Web 2.0 tools, they can prepare a
poster that shows process of a recipe. These students present their posters.
Students’ works (videos, posters) are evaluated by using appropriate rating scale.
Assessment
Also, Web 2.0 tools like KAHOOT, QUIZZIZ, and PLICKERS can be used for
evaluation.
