“CATCH THE FUTURE ”ACTIVITY PLAN
A short-answer test is given to learn the students' prior knowledge of Central Asian
Turkish Migrations. Afterwards, the students are informed about the migration routes
on the world map and a video about Central Asian Turkish Migrations is shown.

The students are asked to prepare a material representing horse carriages used
during the migration as a group.
(Students are given materials such as hard cardboards, colored cartons, glue, scissors,
tape,tec.) At this level of the activity students try to design the most durable and useful
horse carriage by making different designs in groups.

Process
The causes and consequences of Turkish migration from the Central Asia are
discussed. Teacher emphasizes the importance of the domestication of horses, the
design of durable horse carriages with wheels, stock raising in the daily life of the
Turks.
