“CATCH THE FUTURE ”ACTIVITY PLAN

Activities
After discussing the research questions, the teacher explains the introduction activity
to the students again. Limitations are discussed and time is allowed for students to
divide up work within groups and start developing ideas. Four sets of four
mathematicians' lifes will have intersections of some of these sets, and an empty
subset can be added, as well as specify clues to guide teacher students. After the idea
development process is completed, the information collected from different sources is
organized and started to work on.
They are allowed to have time to prepare venn schemes to visualize clusters. Students
will express any field they have determined in the clusters they prepare simultaneously
with operations in clusters. Exercises are made on the schemes prepared on the
subject. The properties of intersection and union in sets are explained and the
properties of intersection and union in sets are reviewed by reviewing the operations
performed by the students in the experimental phase. While explaining these features,
students are trying to give examples of venn schemes.
