Initiative 3 : Work to partner with youth programs such as PAAL , and the Town ’ s summer and after-school camps , along with camps by private organizations to help foster positive youth contact with police
Initiative 4 : Use available social media platforms to reach all populations of the town to provide information sharing and alternative sources of communication with the Police Department
OBJECTIVE 4 : Partner with other Town departments , businesses , and the community to provide education and resources for animal services
Initiative 1 : Assist in educating the public on safe animal practices and Town animal ordinances through social media , print materials , and presentations
Initiative 2 : Provide low-cost services through partnerships with the community for items such as rabies shots , microchipping , distemper shots , and spaying and neutering
Initiative 3 : Work with community animal rescue groups and organizations to help minimize the number of animals taken to the Wake County Animal Center
