I honestly did not get the complete feel for this game to be able to say if it is a win or bust. The game does look interesting. My only concern is that the market is overflowing with different VR headsets and the games are not specifying if they will be compatible with all of them.
Then we got another VR game, Star Trek: Bridge Crew. Although the game was not entirely explained, it does look awesome to play. I am more of a Star Wars fan than a Star Trek fan, but I would love to play this game. The experience gets a win, but I am still on the fence about the game since not much was shown.
Then For Honor, a game that certainly peaks my interest. Awesome war combat featuring a knight, a viking and a samurai. What more can we ask for? The game cinematic looks amazing but again, on the fence about the final product. I am not sure what the game is really about but I am sold regardless. I am a huge fan of sword combat and medieval sceneries. With the gameplay trailer and release date of February 14, 2017, for me this is a win!
Then in LMFAO fashion, two presenters came in an oddly awkward way and if you look closely some of the viewers were not amused. All this to show a weird trailer of Trials of the Blood Dragon. I was a bit weirded out by the trailer. I do understand what they were going for but for me it just missed. All that aside, the game looks like fun. For me, win on the game; bust on the presentation!
Then one of the games that was mostly anticipated on the Ubisoft presentation, Watchdogs 2. The start of the presentation was interesting and appealing. I played the first installment of Watchdogs and I was entertained for some time, but as the time passed I grew tired of doing the same over and over. This game does look better and has more things to do. This game has the highest probability of me buying it of all the Ubisoft games. This game will be a Playstation exclusive with DLCs being available 30 days prior on PS4. The gameplay trailer, multiplayer co-op capabilities, fluidity and graphics make this game a win for me.
Next, Steep. This game was the last one shown and for me they did not end on the highest note that they could. This game although it was not one of my favorites the graphics look incredible. This game puts you on an adrenaline junkie's dream, high snow covered mountains, snowboards skis, parachutes and wingsuits. Even though I feel that Ubisoft could have ended on a better game, this game did not disappoint. For me this game is a win!
Ubisoft although they have many great titles, during the last years for me they have fallen short. Overall I rate this presentation 6 out of 10.
