Budget Highlights The FY2024-2025 Adopted Budget includes :
� An increase of $ 15,950 for travel and training which will maintain the HR specialty credentials for the larger team to improve the quality and consistency of service delivery to the Town .
� Funding of $ 35,000 for an organizational study to identify needed staffing to accommodate community growth and establish appropriate departmental workforce structure for efficient service delivery .
FY2023-2024 Accomplishments � Completed and implemented the classification and compensation study with significant pay increases for all full-time employees .
� Transitioned to North Carolina Health Insurance Pool ( NCHIP ) for medical insurance coverage resulting in a flat renewal for employees for fiscal year 2024-2025 and additional access to a multitude of wellness resources .
� Added multiple leave designations including paid parental leave , paid family illness leave , community involvement leave , and wellness leave .
