Texas Rangers 2023 World Series Victory Parade
The Texas Rangers celebrated the team ’ s first World Series victory with a parade in November 2023 . An estimated 400,000 to 700,000 fans from across the Dallas-Fort Worth region flocked to Arlington ’ s Entertainment District to welcome the team home . The parade included Texas Rangers players , Manager Bruce Bochy , team executives , Mayor Jim Ross and the Arlington City Council , marching bands from the University of Texas at Arlington and all six Arlington ISD high schools and Arlington police and fire representatives . The Texas Rangers continue to bring fans from the region and beyond into Arlington ’ s Entertainment District to enjoy America ’ s favorite pastime .

• In July 2023 , the Arlington Economic Development Corporation and the Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center ( TMAC ) announced a new grant program , the Strategic Solutions Fund , that aims to help Arlington-based companies accelerate their growth and profitability .
• On Feb . 13 , 2023 , The Cordish Companies and Texas Rangers celebrated the opening of Spark Arlington , a collaborative workspace for local entrepreneurs , creators and innovators to locate and grow their businesses .
• GM announced an anticipated $ 500 million-plus investment at the Arlington Assembly plant in June 2023 , with plans to prepare the facility for production of future internal combustion engine full-size SUVs . This investment bolsters GM ’ s U . S . manufacturing operations , which includes more than 50 assembly , stamping , propulsion and component plants and parts distribution centers nationwide .
• Innovative Beauty Products , a cosmetic products manufacturer and distributor and parent company behind Godefroy , celebrated its grand opening of a new 29,000-square-foot facility in the Great Southwest Industrial Complex .
• P & H Casters Company , Inc ., an Arlington-based caster and wheel manufacturer that has operated in The American Dream City for more than 25 years , celebrated the completion of its $ 15 million relocation and expansion project in December 2022 . The company is a major supplier of casters for grocery and home improvement retail shopping carts , medical equipment and other rolling equipment in the United States .
