One Rangers Way Breaks Ground in the Entertainment District
In October 2022 , the Texas Rangers , The Cordish Companies and the City of Arlington celebrated the groundbreaking of One Rangers Way , a luxury residential community in the heart of the Entertainment District . The project continues the next phase of over $ 1 billion of development in the Entertainment District that includes the Loews Arlington Hotel & Convention Center ( opened Feb . 2024 ), Spark Coworking ( opened Feb . 2023 ) and the National Medal of Honor
Museum ( anticipated to open early 2025 ).
One Rangers Way will celebrate the rich history of the state of Texas and showcase a unique design and curated art collection inspired by the Texas Rangers and America ’ s favorite pastime . Slated to open in 2024 , One Rangers Way will create an exciting first opportunity to live steps away from Globe Life Field , Choctaw Stadium and AT & T Stadium .
The Founders Arena Brings Global WealthTech Accelerator to Arlington
The Founders Arena , born from a partnership between the City of Arlington , Arlington Economic Development Corporation and First Rate , Inc ., is an innovative WealthTech Accelerator designed to meet the needs of startup tech entrepreneurs . In June 2023 , the Arlington Economic Development Corporation approved a three-year performance grant of up to $ 1.5 million for First Rate , which completed nearly $ 950,000 in renovations to its campus .
The 10-week intensive program gives participants access to networking , funding , training and mentorship . Headquartered at the new First Rate , Inc . campus in North Arlington , the Founders Arena aims to foster innovation and entrepreneurship while actively engaging the local community through workshops , seminars , hackathons and networking events .
