S & C , one of the ‘ big beasts ’ of the hedge fund administration world , has recorded a similar set of results to last year . Five categories are up , seven are down – all within a relatively narrow range of 0.32 to -0.33 points . All categories score in Very Good range ( 6.00-6.99 ) and all exceed the global category averages . The traditional basics of fund administration are clearly seen as well handled . “ Great turnaround times on NAV and always precise ,” says one Canadian respondent . “ The team is very easy to reach and always makes times for us no matter how busy they are . Excellent , knowledgeable and effective fund accounting services .” SS & C notes that in the past 12 months , “ Clients turned to us for more services and best practices advice across the board , seeking our help with fund launches , operations , regulatory compliance and investor reporting .” As a result , strategic technology initiatives within SS & C have focused on making investment manager and investor data more accessible and transparent . The firm has , for example , launched SS & C ESG Solutions , designed to help asset managers sort through ESG data to make investment decisions and provide accurate ESG reporting to clients . SS & C has also launched SS & C GoCentral , an integrated next-generation fund administration platform to optimise its fund administration offering . The platform leverages AI and business process re-engineering in an exception management-based approach to optimise front- , middle- and back-office services on a single unified platform .
