officially designating the naming
of Little Haiti. The commissioner
also secured a forty-million-dollar
commitment from the Magic City
Innovation District to enrich the
Little Haiti community.
Combined with the creation

Trust, these dollars will allow
for the continued development
of affordable housing and the
sustaining of current residents’
homes.
It will also allow
for investment and
improvement of businesses
located in the community.
